Property and Cancellation Policies

At Kalimera Beach Hotel, we strive to provide our guests with exceptional service and flexibility. However, due to the intimate nature of our property and limited room availability, cancellations can significantly impact our operations. Therefore, we have established the following cancellation policy:

1. General Cancellation Terms:

• Guests may cancel their reservation without incurring any charges if the cancellation is made more than forty-eight (48) days prior to the scheduled arrival date. In such cases, any deposits or prepayments will be fully refunded.

1. Late Cancellation:

• If a reservation is canceled within forty-eight (48) days of the scheduled arrival date, Kalimera Beach Hotel reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee equivalent to one hundred percent (100%) of the total cost of the stay, including all taxes and fees. This policy applies to all room types and reservations, including those made through third-party booking platforms.

1. No-Show Policy:

• In the event of a no-show, where the guest does not arrive on the scheduled check-in date and has not informed the hotel of any changes to the arrival date, the full amount of the stay will be charged. The reservation will be held until 12:00 PM on the day following the scheduled arrival date, after which the room may be released for resale.

1. Modification of Reservation:

• Any modifications to the reservation, including changes to the arrival date, departure date, or room type, are subject to availability and may result in a rate adjustment. Modifications made within forty-eight (48) days of the scheduled arrival date may be treated as a cancellation, and the aforementioned cancellation policy may apply.

1. Refunds and Processing Time:

• Refunds for cancellations made outside the forty-eight (48) day window will be processed within ten (10) business days. Please note that any transaction fees incurred by the hotel during the refund process will be deducted from the refunded amount.

1. Force Majeure:

• In the event of a force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, or other events beyond the control of Kalimera Beach Hotel, which prevent the guest from arriving on the scheduled date, the hotel may, at its discretion, offer a full refund or allow the guest to reschedule their stay within a specified period without any additional charges.

1. Prices and Taxes

All room rates are agreed upon at the time of booking, whether through our website, a third-party booking engine, or directly with the hotel. Prices include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Any additional taxes or fees mandated by local regulations will be applied at check-out.

2. Payment and Terms at Check-in/Check-out

Full payment for your stay is required at check-in. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and cash.

A valid credit card must be presented at check-in and kept on file for the duration of your stay to cover any incidental charges or additional purchases.

The final bill will be settled at check-out, with any outstanding balances charged to the card on file.

3. Traveling with Minors

Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Proof of age may be required at check-in. The hotel reserves the right to refuse accommodation to guests who do not meet this requirement.

4. Parking

Complimentary parking is available but limited. Spaces must be reserved in advance to guarantee availability.

The hotel is not liable for damages or theft of vehicles. Guests are encouraged to take precautions to secure their vehicles and belongings.

5. Dispute Resolution/Issues

For any disputes or issues during your stay, please notify us immediately to allow for prompt resolution.

Any unresolved disputes will be handled in accordance with the laws of Belize. By staying at Kalimera Beach Hotel, you agree to the jurisdiction of the local courts.

6. Use of Personal Information

Kalimera Beach Hotel is committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected will be used solely for managing your reservation and providing a personalized guest experience.

Your information will not be shared with third parties unless required by law or for the fulfillment of your booking (e.g., sharing with third-party platforms).

7. Liability

Kalimera Beach Hotel is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property during your stay, except where liability is required by law. Guests are advised to take necessary precautions and secure their valuables.

8. Force Majeure

In circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters or government actions, Kalimera Beach Hotel reserves the right to cancel or modify reservations without liability. Guests will have the option to reschedule their stay or receive a refund, depending on the situation.

9. Third-Party Rights

These terms and conditions are for the benefit of Kalimera Beach Hotel and its guests and do not confer any rights to third parties.

10. Waiver

By staying at Kalimera Beach Hotel, guests waive any liability claims against the hotel for incidents during their stay, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law. Guests may be required to sign a liability waiver upon check-in, especially for activities involving inherent risks.

11. Smoking Policy

Kalimera Beach Hotel is a non-smoking property. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all guest rooms, balconies, and common areas.

If a guest is found smoking on the premises, a $300 cleaning fee will be charged to the card on file to restore the room to a smoke-free condition. This policy is strictly enforced for the comfort and safety of all guests.

12. Incidentals and Damages

Guests are responsible for any damage to hotel property, including guest rooms, furnishings, and common areas. If items are missing or damaged beyond normal wear and tear, the full replacement or repair cost will be charged to the credit card on file.
